Indian High Commissioner Vikram Doraiswamy has said that the friendly relations between Bangladesh and India are based on blood ties. Meanwhile, Awami League general secretary Obaidul Quader said that Bangladesh and India are bound by blood.
In the morning, the Indian High Commissioner to Bangladesh Vikram Doraiswamy came to visit the Awami League’s central office on Bangabandhu Avenue. Awami League general secretary Obaidul Quader welcomed him.
At that time, Doraiswamy said, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman initiated good relations between the two countries. Following this, the relations between the two countries have become stronger which will be further strengthened in the future.
Obaidul Quader said there is a common vision against terrorism and militancy at the border. He also said that a green signal has been received that the distribution of Teesta water may take place soon.
