‘BNP’s blueprint will be boomerang like in the past’

Awami League General Secretary and Minister for Road Transport and Bridges Obaidul Quader has said that those who could not accept this country in their minds and hearts are patronizing the anti-independence forces.

He was speaking at a discussion meeting on the occasion of Victory Day and the inaugural function of Bangabandhu, Liberation War and Bangladesh Corner at Setu Bhaban in the capital on Friday (December 18) morning. At that time, Obaidul Quader said, BNP talks about liberation war and sovereignty in words but now their main job is to complain to foreigners. Obaidul Quader also said that it was a sign of BNP’s bankruptcy to openly seek the moral help of foreign powers to come to power in the month of victory as a political party of an independent country.

Mentioning that the BNP has made a blueprint for creating self-interest by creating a blueprint for creating an anarchic situation in the country, the general secretary of Awami League said, these mischievous attempts will be boomerang-like in the past. The people are now very much aware that the BNP wants to take revenge on the people for not responding to their negative politics.

He further said that even before the golden jubilee of independence, Bangladesh is moving ahead of Pakistan in most of the socio-economic indicators. Bangladesh is discussed in the parliament of Pakistan, they want to be Bangladesh now. This is where the success and achievement of Mujib’s birth struggle is. Bangladesh today is the wonder of the world in Sheikh Hasina’s magical leadership, charismatic decision making. The country of food scarcity has now achieved food self-sufficiency, floods, droughts, manga, cyclones Bangladesh today is a proud member of the nuclear world. He has also proved that only Bangabandhu’s daughter has the courage to challenge the World Bank and decide to build the Padma Bridge with her own funds.

The minister challenged that there were no irregularities in the construction of the Padma Bridge and there was not the slightest lack of transparency. In 2022, vehicles will pass over the Padma Bridge.
