The BBC has launched an investigation into the 1995 interview with Princess Diana to BBC journalist Martin Bashir. Meanwhile, a letter from Princess Diana to Martin has reached the BBC’s, Lord Hall.
The BBC believes the letter will play a helpful role in moving the investigation forward. Earl Spencer, Diana’s brother, alleges that Martin took Diana’s interview at the Panorama show 25 years ago with fake documents.
In 1995, Princess Diana interviewed journalist Martin Bashir on the BBC documentary Panorama. There, he told the story behind the breakup of his marriage to Prince Charles.
In the interview, Diana herself admits to being involved in a love affair. And Camilla also talked about Parker-Bowles’ love affair with Prince Charles. The interview aired on ‘Panorama’ was watched by 23 million people.
Earl Spencer, Diana’s brother, has accused journalist Martin Bashir of showing fake documents and conducting interviews. He said Martin persuaded Diana to give him an interview by showing fake bank documents.
