More than 40 countries have suspended flights to the United Kingdom due to new species of coronavirus.
The new virus is 70 percent more likely to infect than before. However, it is not considered more deadly than the previous species.
It is also found in Italy, the Netherlands, Denmark and Australia. More than 40 countries, including Saudi Arabia, India and Hong Kong, have suspended flights to Britain and several European countries to prevent the spread of the virus. And it has had an adverse effect on the British stock market. As a result, the British pound has depreciated against the dollar.
Earlier on Sunday (December 20th), UK Health Minister Matt Hancock said the new version of the virus was “out of control”.
On the other hand, a highly contagious form of coronavirus has also been found in South Africa. However, it is not like the new virus that has spread in the UK.
