The first shipment of Pfizer-Bioentech vaccine has arrived in Michigan, USA.
The first shipment of the coronavirus vaccine invented by Pfizer-Bioentech arrived in Kalamazoo, Michigan on Sunday morning. The country will start administering the vaccine from Monday. The US administration has plans to make the vaccine available in all states.
General Gustav Parna, chief executive of the Trump administration-led War Speed Operation, told a news conference that vaccinations would be completed in 145 of the 636 locations in the United States tomorrow. The vaccine will reach the rest of the place by Tuesday and Wednesday.
Earlier on Friday, the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved the emergency use of the Pfizer vaccine. Then the work of reaching the vaccine across the country began. The vaccine will be given to people 16 years of age or older, the FDA said.
