An international team of scientists from the World Health Organization will visit Wuhan, China next month.
According to media reports, the party is not going to prove whether China is actually responsible for the spread of the coronavirus. Scientists are going to Uhan as part of research on what needs to be done to prevent future epidemics. In that case, they will find out how the virus originated and spread.
Scientists will stay there for 4 to 5 weeks. The origin of the novel coronavirus is thought to be from the marine fish market in Uhan. Wildlife was also traded freely in that market. Soon after the outbreak, the Chinese government banned the sale of wildlife in the country.
