Ireland lost to England on a record average

In the last match of the series, the Irish overcame the target of 329 runs given by the Three Lions with seven wickets in hand. It avoids whitewash. The three-match ODI series ended 2-1.

England, who had batted earlier, were in danger at the start but Eoin Morgan took the helm. The hosts got in the way of a big score in the 14th ODI century of the English captain. Morgan returned with 106. In addition, Banton (58), David Wiley (51) and Tom Curran (38 not out) gave England a huge lead of 326 runs.

You have to cross a huge path to avoid the shame of whitewash. That may have heated up the Irish. Paul Sterling and Balbarni did not allow the team to lose even though they lost the first wicket for 50 runs. Ireland feared to win their alliance by a record 214 runs. Both picked up centuries.

Sterling 142 and Balbarni 113 runs. In the end, Harry Tractor and Kevin O'Brien won the toss and elected to field. Points are added to the ODI Super League.
