Professional tennis finally average returned to the court. The Palermo Lady Open started on Monday with a limited number of spectators.
Competitors have appeared from 15 European countries to take part in the tournament. This is the first international tennis tournament to be held since all tennis was suspended in March
Before leaving the country, all the corona including the players and officials were tested. After reaching Palermo, another test was conducted. The tournament authorities have also announced to test all the participants every 4 consecutive days.
Despite such strictures, the organizers said that the corona of a player was positive. However, the name of the player was not disclosed. However, the tournament will continue. The US Open will start on August 31. Then the postponed French Open will start on September 27.
