The ministry has sent a proposal to the Prime Minister's Office to take the PEC exam to school in February. The Ministry of Primary and Mass Education has proposed not to take the final examination of primary education only at the end of the fifth grade this year due to the situation arising due to coronavirus infection.
State Minister for Primary and Mass Education Zakir Hossain said this at his ministry on Wednesday morning.
The minister said Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina would take the final decision in this regard. If this proposal is approved, then the scholarship given on the basis of this test will not be given this time. However, the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education has planned to conduct the examination in their respective schools this year on the basis of short syllabus, even though it is not the final examination of primary education centrally.
