The results of the first stage were published by nominating 12 lakh 77 thousand 721 students for admission in class XI.
The Ministry of Education has published the list of the first step of admission in class XI in the academic year 2020-21. 12 lakh 77 thousand 721 students have been nominated for admission in the first phase. A total of 13 lakh 42 thousand 693 students across the country applied for admission in class XI. Of these, 64,972 students did not match any college in the first phase.

Students will have to be admitted in this phase from 8 pm on 27th to 30th August. However, students who did not get college in the first step list or who want to migrate can apply for the second step without any additional cost. It will run from 31st August to 2nd September. The results will be released on September 4.
Students selected in this phase will have to be admitted between 5 to 6 September at 5 pm. Even then, if one does not get a college and wants to migrate, the third step can be applied on September 7 and 8. The results of this step will be released on September 10. Students selected in this phase will have to be admitted between 8 pm on 11 to 12 September.
The final college-based final results will be released on September 13. Admission must be between 13th and 15th September.
There are 7,474 government and private colleges across the country with 25 lakh seats in class XI. And there are 16 lakh 90 thousand 523 students admitted in the 2020-21 academic year. The Ministry of Education has said that there will be no seat crisis this year as there are more seats than the number of admitted students.
