Serena Williams advanced to the quarterfinals after beating her older sister Venus Williams at the Top Seed Open in Lexington, Kentucky.
In the face-to-face fight between the two sisters, Serena got the 12th victory after showing 19 times in her career. He won the match 3-6, 6-3, 6-4. After the 2018 Indian Wells, Venus could not win against her younger sister. Serena's opponents in the top eight could be Leila Fernandez or Shelby Rogers, who plays with the American World Card.
Serena sees the Top Seed Open as a stage for preparations for the US Open, which starts on August 31. The tennis stars have returned to the court in this tournament after February due to the outbreak of Covid-19.
