DU Vice-Chancellor Prof. Akhtaruzzaman said that in the month of glory, DU teachers had to take to the field to protest against an unexpected issue. The sculpture is the medium of expression of creative art. It is manifested through human beings. Humanity is interrupted when the sculpture is interrupted. It is advisable to be strict against these anti-civilization forces. They need to be identified and exemplary punishment ensured.

Professor ASM Maqsood Kamal said that this radical group was defeated in 1971. Throughout history, this fanatical group has been repeatedly defeated by standing against the culture of the Bengalis. The destruction of Bangabandhu's sculpture in Kushtia is not for the establishment of Islam. An attack on the long-standing cultural consciousness in this country. None of them stood for the liberation war in 1971 but opposed it. To stand against Bangabandhu means to stand against modern Bangladesh. We have been able to defeat them in the past. I will be able to defeat them in the future as well.

Professor. Shafiul Alam Bhuiyan said, "Analyzing the statements made by the leaders of Hefazat-e-Islam, it is clear that they are trying to conspire deeply. The job of religious leaders is to teach morality, not to be bigoted.
