Before taking office, newly elected US President Joe Biden announced a 1.9 trillion stimulus package to revive the US economy.
Biden made the announcement in a speech in Wilmington, Delaware, on Thursday, local time.
If passed in Congress, the proposal could provide 1,400 incentives for every American. Biden's proposal includes 415 billion to accelerate corona vaccine activities and 440 billion for small businesses. One crore 80 lakh Americans who lost their jobs in Corona have been covered under this allowance.
In his campaign for the US presidency last year, Biden promised that he would take more effective action than Donald Trump in dealing with Corona.
