The whole world was devastated by the Corona epidemic. After the invention of the vaccine to prevent the deadly virus, the world is seeing the light of hope. However, despite the invention of the vaccine, the corona vaccine has not reached the 130 poorest in the world. UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres has even expressed concern over the fact that 75 percent of the corona vaccine is in stock in the 10 richest countries.

He expressed his displeasure at a virtual meeting of the UN Security Council on Wednesday. Guterres blames the lack of coordination for most countries not being covered by the vaccine program.

He said that the most important thing at the moment is the balanced distribution of vaccines. At the meeting, the UN Secretary-General called for the formation of an emergency task force for the economically strong countries of the G20. He thinks it is possible to produce vaccines quickly if financial assistance is available.

At the G20 summit in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, in November last year, the leaders of the G20 countries pledged to ensure a fair distribution of Covid-19 vaccines, drugs, and tests. Pfizer, Oxford, and a few other vaccines were released, but now the promise has not been implemented.
