70 people have been arrested in China, including Konga, the ringleader of a group that makes fake coronavirus vaccines.

They were arrested after conducting raids on vaccine manufacturers across the country. It is learned that 20 more cases have been filed in this regard across the country.

China's state news agency Xinhua reported on Monday that a team from the country used to make fake vaccines with saline and drinking water in the original vaccine packaging. This fake vaccine was manufactured by a secret part of the original vaccine manufacturers.

In November last year, 600 batches of counterfeit vaccines were sent to different countries of the world through Hong Kong. There they have been sold at exorbitant prices to various hospitals and village doctors.

The team has earned more than 2.7 million by smuggling these vaccines since August last year.

Coronavirus transmission began in late December last year in Wuhan, Hubei Province, China. So far, Covid-19 has spread to 218 countries and regions of the world including Bangladesh.
