Jeff Bezos, the founder of the world-renowned e-commerce company Amazon, is stepping down.
From now on, he will be the executive chairman of the organization. Bezos said it would give him time and energy to focus on his other business.
Andy Jesse will be the CEO of Amazon. He is now the head of Amazon's cloud business. Amazon said the change would come in the second half of this year.
Bezos, currently the world's second-richest man, founded Amazon in 1994. Amazon started its journey as a general online bookseller in the garage about 30 years ago. Amazon currently has 1.3 million employees worldwide.
