The US Congress passed the incentive package
The bill passed the Democrat-majority House of Representatives on Wednesday (March 10), local time. There were 220 votes in favor of the incentive package and 211 against. No Republican member voted for the package. A Democrat leader also voted against the bill.

President Biden will sign the bill on Friday (March 12), White House Press Secretary Jane Sackie said. Then it will become law.

Biden proposed the stimulus package to boost the US economy, which is reeling from the Corona crisis. Under the incentive, low-income US citizens will receive a one-time 1,400. 9.5 million Americans who lose their jobs will receive 300 a week. In addition, 350 billion has been allocated to state and local administrations.
