According to Reuters, more than 12 million people in India are now affected by corona. India is the third most infected country after the United States and Brazil. With 479 new deaths, the death toll in the country has risen to 1,63,396.

Earlier, on October 2, 81,484 people in India were diagnosed with corona. This is the highest number so far. However, the infection has increased recently. As a result, the country has become very upset. There has been a crisis in the healthcare sector. Medical personnel and hospitals are struggling to cope with the pressure.

According to NDTV, citing the health ministry, corona infections are on the rise in various parts of the country, including Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Punjab, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, and Gujarat. In Delhi, the infection has increased by 53 percent in a single day.
