According to the directive, the family of the bank official will get a maximum of Rs 50 lakh as compensation. If the employee dies, he will get 25 lakh rupees. And the family of the officer below the rank of the officer will get 37 lakh 50 thousand rupees from the trainee assistant officer.
Earlier, in a directive on April 15 last year, Bangladesh Bank had said that any bank official who was attacked during the general holiday announced by the government would get Rs 5 to 10 lakh. In case of the death of a bank official due to corona infection, five times the compensation was ordered. However, in a notification issued on Monday, the directive has been canceled. As a result, if a bank official's corona is affected, he will no longer receive compensation.
