India has a budget proposal of Rs 40 trillion

Indian Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has proposed a budget of Rs 40 trillion for the coming financial year by investing heavily in infrastructure to offset the effects of the epidemic.

India's finance minister has proposed a budget of Rs 39.45 trillion to keep the wheel of growth running, starting with the construction of highways and increasing affordable housing investment.

However, the Indian government expects growth to be lower than in the current financial year.

Due to the epidemic, India's gross domestic product (GDP) shrunk by 6.6 percent in FY 2020-21. The country has turned from that situation.

In his budget speech, Sitharaman said that the picture was an expression of India's strong ability to revive the economy and turn around. India's finance minister has announced a reduction in corporate taxes to 15 percent in the budget and the introduction of digital currency under the central bank.
