Most of the students of Haji Mohammad Danesh University of Science and Technology in Dinajpur have expressed satisfaction over the ban on ragging. To make it effective, the 'Raging Remedies and Prevention Act' has already been approved.

While the university authorities support such a decision, some have even suggested a slight relaxation, considering the good aspects of ragging.

Uncomfortable-embarrassing and terrifying sound ragging for junior and novice students at any university. Haji Mohammad Danesh Univerad site of Science and Technology in Dinajpur has not taken any unpleasant incident in the past regarding ragging, but the university authorities have taken such an initiative as a precaution.

In the meantime, there are various punishments under the Ragging Remedies and Prevention Act. The minimum punishment is caution and the maximum punishment is expulsion
from the university.

If the crime of ragging is more serious, then there will be a criminal case.
Welcoming the decision of the university authorities, the students said that the students have to face many embarrassing and uncomfortable situations due to ragging. Emotionally broken. So I am supporting this decision of the university authorities.

However, while some students supported the university's decision, they also favored a slight relaxation considering the good and pedagogical aspects of ragging.

University Proctor Professor Dr. Mamunur Rashid said, “If a student has minimal involvement in ragging, we can warn him first. And if the level of ragging is high then there is a law to expel him from the university. '
