On December 17, the country's ruling Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) won 46.72 percent of the vote. The Election Commission of the country declared them victorious in the preliminary results.

The results of the election must be annulled, Tepik told protesters gathered in front of the landmark Moscow Hotel.

Serbia Against Violence is in second place in this election. But they accused the ruling party SNS of massive rigging and irregularities in the elections. However, the ruling party denied the allegation.
