A software engineer at US electric car company Tesla has been attacked by a robot.

The incident took place at the Giga Texas factory in Texas, USA.

According to the report of the US media New York Post, in 2021, the victim was a software engineer in charge of creating a robot to cut car parts from aluminum. Two of the 3 robots are disabled during programming. But a robot was on. And the faulty robot hits the engineer. The left hand of the victim was injured. But it was not serious.

Tesla refused to comment on this. However, there have been no reports of robot-related accidents from the Texas factory.

Notably, one worker out of 21 workers injured last year at Tesla's Giga Texas factory was reported to the US Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). Current and former Tesla employees have complained that the company often compromises construction, maintenance, and operations, putting workers at risk.
